Dr. Lanre Towry-Coker is a Nigerian architect, politician and socialite. ==Early life and career== He was born in 1944〔(【引用サイトリンク】website=Lagos politics )〕 to a Nigerian civil engineer. He is an indigene of Lagos and was also the first and former Lagos State commissioner for works and housing.〔〔 He attended St. Matthias School, Lagos, the Architectural Association School of Architecture and the University of North East London for his architectural training. He also earned a qualification from Harvard Business School. He established his architectural firm, ''Towry-Coker Associates'' in 1976.
